Welcome to TheLFB Forex Signal Examples page where we explain the nuances of TheLFB signal service.

TheLFB signal service runs off a standard management instruction that is pre-loaded for signals. Traders can pre-set trade tickets with the same management instruction each time. As global markets move through the ebbs and flows of business cycle patterns the percentage closed at each signal target may need to be reviewed and updates issued.

At present the signal criteria closes 30% at 15 pips and move the stop loss  to the entry point, then close 30% at 20 pips, which leaves the balance as the Runner. New signals on the same pair may be issued while a previous Runner is still open. Updates will follow on all open Runner signals and detail will be posted when they are to be closed.

Times: Most signals will be posted in late Asian, European or early U.S. trade. Few new signals will be posted between 12:00 and 17:00 ET because of the historical lack of momentum at that time.

Instruction: Email notification will be sent to clients when signals are issued and loaded to the site. The signals offer price areas to work from, and in a fast moving forex market, or around regional market opens and closes, signals may need flexibility in regard to taking entry points more than once. There may be two or three attempts to break through a price point, and some signals will recycle back and forth before they break hard.

Signal Example

It may be easier for some clients to split the signal into two trade tickets, with a reduced lot size on each which can be managed separately.

Signal Explanation:

-Ticket 1: (1/3 regular lots). At 15 pips close the ticket. (Near-term target banked)

-Ticket 2: (2/3 regular lots). At 15 pips move the Stop Loss to the Entry. (Risk exposure reduced)

-Ticket 2: At 25 pips close half of Ticket 2. (Mid-term target banked)

-Updates will follow on the half of Ticket 2 that remains open. (This is now our Runner)

Trade Signal Philosophy

The philosophy of TheLFB Trade Desk is to approach the market in a controlled and concise manner, working to a pre-set and very defined plan of work. We accept success with the same control as we accept some failures, and do so because we always plan our work. We will not be rushed into decisions, nor do we expect to catch every single set-up that the market offers. We will have a limited number of losing signals, which is just a part of the price to pay to be in the game. History tells us that a losing signal can be a positive experience if something is learned from it.

We will rarely load new signals between 12:00 ET and 17:00 ET; the market is unreliable in U.S. trade. We accept that sometimes we will miss break-outs because of this, but understand that most late-U.S. moves are retraced ahead of Asian trade. We trade Forex with controlled risk. We are in Forex for the long-haul, and in 30 years of trade have defined a philosophy that is controlled, and free of emotion. We understand that it is not all about what is achieved on a daily or weekly basis; the most important result is being in the game this time next year.

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM

ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS
